Pronunciation

"Temp-rah-nee-oh"

Style

Full - Bodied Red Wine

Description

Tempranillo is Spain's Top Red Wine. It's typically labelled by it's regional name and has been made famous by the Rioja area. While the body does not get as rich as Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo is very complex with layers of flavors from start to finish. Expect tannin levels to be high and acidity should also be noticeable (to complement the tannin).
